Balinese Reed and Sequin Purses

These handcrafted sequined purses are made from Reeds and grasses indigenous to Bali. These dried reed sequined purses are dyed and woven with beads and sequins to produce an amazing creation. Our change purse design  is a good size to hold money and lipstick for touch-ups. This design is secured with a zip fastener for easy access.

Embroidered Silk purses and Organza silk purses are among the popular handmade purses for women of quality. There is a different charm in carrying a silk purse that has been put together by hands right from the very start, beginning with the collection of the silk, soaking and softening the silk until it is ready to spool. The silk for the purses is spooled and then woven on hand and foot powered weaving racks.
