ARama Silks and Crafts is the brainchild of Launa Cresswell,
a British artist with a passion for beautiful and unusual home furnishings
from around the world.
“During my travels around the world, one of my enthusiasms is to
collect various unique arts, crafts and materials that I display around
my home or collect for gifts to close friends.
Being an artist myself I am always keen to meet the creator of these
amazing pieces in order to learn and exchange new techniques and
consort the motivations behind their inspired creations.
Having traveled a lot in Asia particularly to Cambodia and Indonesia. I
have collected a lot of art and craft pieces both for friends and
myself. Eventually the gifts I would collect became so popular that
each trip became an avid shopping expedition to collect as many unique
and unusual things as possible. My collections and expeditions grew to
the extent that I decided to form ARama Silks and Crafts."

"Joining forces with other artists I have been able to put together an
amazing collection of art pieces that are exclusively produced for
ARama Silks and Crafts. Many Items are one-of-a-kind creations,
produced by myself and other artists, giving them an opportunity to
display and sell their art.
ARama Silks & Crafts has an ‘Artists Spotlight’ for fellow artists to display their visual art. It is my hope to extend this to a written and audio works platform to be open for all to all.
